Methods of deep teaching are critical to effectively teach a concept so that students can demonstrate full mastery of content on standardized assessments.  This training highlights specific strategies educators can use to fully and deeply teach the Texas math TEKS. Participants are presented with an overview of the Texas math standards and delve into the varied expectations at each grade level, then learn strategies to teach and check for content mastery, with emphasis on word problems and the readiness standards.
